So my daily routine (I have a wife and son). Mon-Sat mornings gym in Dauin, Tue-Thur drop my boy off at Don Bosco, Mon-Wed-Fri afternoon boy's soccer practice at school, Saturday afternoon boy's karate training at Bambulo. most mornings after the gym home and search internet (USA Today, ESPN, check fantasy football, watch BBC news on TV, sandwich for lunch, wife makes chicken or fish for dinner, drink some wine and watch Netflix. go to town once a week, mainly Belcris and Sofia's. Life is good.

JB, I try to make my life fun, and I believe every foreigner who comes here should have that be one of their goals. Obviously not everyone wants a wife or children but there are plenty of options to make your fun. My only unsolicited advice to others is don't go it alone. If no partner or family gather friends. I am the opposite, very few friends and lots of family. Works for me but not suggested to others. Different strokes for different folks.

Maybe we all need to share more of the daily routines which we take for granted, which might be of interest to new comers searching what keeps you here in Philippines and fills your day.
( without being too personal)

Hi everyone. I'm a newbie here. And when I say "here" I just mean to the forum. I'm still in the States but contemplating a move out to PI, specifically Bacolod area. What WILL bring me to the PI is retirement with my wife who I've been married to for 12 years. All her family is still there, and I don't have much family left here in the States, so we're still debating if and when this will happen. Hope to meet a lot of people here who can shed some wisdom on what to expect, etc. I can't find an active forum closer to Bacolod which is why I chose this one. Thanks!

There seems to be a recurring problem with old posts cropping up and masquerading as unread ones, I've noticed. Usually takes me some time to realise I've already read them.
