Is it worthy to invest your hard earned money in Life Insurance?

It may still be worthy but I have had a recent bad experience with a major carrier that I was a long time customer of that has me steering clear for now. I had a whole life contract that I started when I was single in the military so it had all the favorable clauses and was soon to be self perpetuating but I still had some nominal quarterly payments to make. When I hit hard times a few years back I was not able to make a payment. They sent me one notice and the next thing I know they had used my cash buildup to pay the bill and then canceled my policy. This was UoO. I am not too happy with insuance companies right now. I think I would stick with a minimum term life policy if I felt the need to have insurance. It seems to me that the primium policies are not very premium.

 

this makes my second thought on life insurance. they are keen on collecting payment from customers. i doubt if they also pay on time if the customers redeem their investment.

 

Especially in the Philippines!
