hello to all my wife and i will be visiting there in early nov. we are looking to move some time next spring we are very excited to visit. ill be looking to buy a house or maybe build. my asawa is from bataan and im from tacoma Wa. lookin fwd to be part of your community!

Welcome to the forum and DC. I am still a relatively new member considering how less than frequent I log in due to other stuff to do as well but YES! the red carpets are open all the time. I hope that like my experiences with the DC forum, that you find enough variety of interests, variety of interactions and such.

After living and working in China the last 8 yrs, visited Cebu and Dumaguete (as well as other places) and what a refreshing change. Have found the people wonderful and plan to return, within three to four months to settle, probably Dumaguete.

Could the "bloke" from Damuguete Hash please contact me.

At this early stage plan to rent a house 2/3 bedroom, "native style" OK on a good size block of land, from about end November/early December 2008, if people could keep this in mind.

Now back in Australia and feel like a square peg in a round hole !
