I have shipped using Forex (Forexworld.com) Atlas, and Manila forarders (Manila Forwarders Corporation) I was satisfied with the service of each. Shipping time is 4-8 weeks from the US west coast, about 2 weeks longer from the east coast. Cost from the West coast is around $70-$80, a little more from the east coast for typical balikbayan size box. Weight doesn';t matter. On contents I listed as Used computer parts. I removed batteries, hard drives, etc. to make it look more like parts than complete units if they were opened. After shipping over 30 boxes of computers, tools, and personal items I never had a box opened.

    Hope this helps.

Agreed! PI customs will hold your container hostage until you pay thousands of dollars in extortion! Even if you DO have a retiree visa that supposedly allows you x amount of duty free importation of personal property.

Laptops will fit in your luggage or even in a shoulder bag. No one gives me any trouble when I bring one in.
