⌛ Aloha From Hawaii

Aloha...just thought I better introduce myself before I jump too deeply into any of the other threads. I'm from San Francisco originally and taught diving as a hobby for 18 yrs(over 1000 dives in 50 degree water). Now living in Hawaii and working full time at a large dive operation as a US Coast Guard licensed commercial boat captain. I've been lucky to dive around the world from Norway to Australia and have an interest in this site as I'd like to learn more about Dumaguete and the diving around there. January of 2010 I had a chance to dive in Moalboal as well as Malapascua. I did Tubbataha/Sulu Sea back when Marcos was still running things.

I've toyed with the idea of living in the Philippines.........but Thailand would be a great gig too.

Filipinas vs. Thai Women

Aloha hd2. Your mentioning of Philippines vs Thailand for living brings back the age old question many of us have been wrestling with for your years. Who are the most beautiful women: Filipinas or Thais? IMHO I vote the filipinas, not just because I am married to a beautiful young one, but because my ex-wife was Thai (Chinese) and not as pretty and a real dragon lady (probably her chinese blood) and took most of my money. Still, they are both better than my first wife, a dumb american blonde...
How do others vote , filipinas or Thais?

:D I had my First Wife 15years (British) My second was just a Live in 3 years (Ivory Coast) My lady is now 20 years and counting. Filipino Evey time for me. My younger Brother is on his 4th Thai, and 9th bank account :D
I am sure he is just picking the wrong ones?

Sure glad I never went to Thailand from what I read and hear!

:o Where are MY manners, I totally forgot to Say Hi and Welcome, I hope whatever decision you make it will be the right one for you. I am sure as you trawl around the DI site, you will find a lot of If's and Buts but there will be a lot of help and suggestions to base your next move on. Life here is not perfect but it is Good.
