    in Pampanga the bin's would be stolen so then people drilled holes through the bins so they wouldn't be of any value other than as a bin. Well, that failed when the road and construction crews found them good for sorting out only rocks of certain sizes through the holed bins....

    This is weird !!

    Hi guys following on to the stolen BIN
    On Monday 1 of the 2 bags of rubbish went we thought the garbage truck had new rules only to take 1.
    Then this afternoon we noticed the other one had disappeared, no way have they come twice in a week.
    It must be a rubbish snatcher,or a Weirdo we never throw paperwork away so not ID theft this is a puzzler !!!
    Cheers Di:confused::confused:

    It is very common here that people go through your trash, or what appears for us to be trash.
    hundreds if not thousands of people here living from that. They pick out the tiniest piece of plastic, paper/cartons, glass or each kind of metal. Some even look for food left-overs and bones ... and that is not for the dogs.

    They collect it to get the next day some peso for it or sometimes only some food. When we moved to this house, we had 2 guys asking to search out trash "exclusively"... well, I friendly denied.

    For many of those people is just nothing rubbish, as long it burns floats is metal or they can chew on it.

    Yes that is what we did think but it has not happened since we moved here so it seemed strange like you said to us its only rubbish.
    Ah well i suppose that its no different than a rubbish dump in parts of the world. Cheers Di:(
