    can any one give me some info about hiring a child keeper? how much do they usually charge u for a month?do they help in tutoring your child?how trusted they are?do they live with u?

    Hi a child keeper or "YAYA" costs about 1200-1500 pesos per month this is for stay in you feed and provide a room for them. Filipino yaya if you get lucky the good ones are very affectionate and caring however you cannot expect them to teach your children Math, or science because they themselves did not have or complete their education. You can however hire a tutor to teach your kids with a hourly charge of 50-100pesos per hour. Just consult teachers from their school for this.

    Tutorial here in dumagute is not 50-100 pesos per hour its 250-300 per hour.

    I think it depends on the subject and one's negotiation skills. Even the highest paid professors at Silliman rarely earn more than P100 per hour. Most professors in town earn less than P50 per hour. Perhaps they can convince you to give them P250 or more per hour but that has more to do with the interested parties' negotiation skills rather than market reality.
