Just got back at 6PM tonight after 5 days up north...

So far 2 brownouts tonight and we have only been back 5 hours...

2.5 hour = 50% of the 5 hours we have been back has been without power...

For vacation this is might be ok, but this has been going on for about 6 weeks now and no signs of it getting any better.

We got our electric bill during a 20 hour brownout, and it was P2000 higher than the month before - this is with 3-6 brownouts a day of on average an hour each consistently through the billed period.

Dane, do you have a generator? Not that it has anything to do with your electric bill. That just doesn't seem right.

We do have a generator, it cost around P500 per 6-8 hours to run, so if I add fuel cost to our electric bill it just doubled :(
