⌛ Dumaguete Dog Pound

I've been wondering, do we have a dog pound in the city?

 

Yup! The whole city acts as a dog pound! :D

 

Mangnao Canal Rd at 6am when we put the trash out. Numerous breeds

 

lol.. i wish we have one.. a decent one..

 

Not just the city..Philippines as a whole acts as a dog pound....

 

Yup. Whenever one is on the dinner menu, it is first pounded to death with clubs!

Last time i remember when stray DOGS were a problem ..
Its Shoot to Kill.. No Mercy..
Then Dragged to the City Dumpsite "Organica Fertilizer"

Or perhaps "PULUTAN" its not a joke..

Friend of mine reported a couple of weeks ago from Bohol. A dog was run over and killed. Locals decided to roast and eat it. Really!

There once was a doggie named Fifi.
She got run over by a jeepney.
Let's eat her, they said
and share her around.
The owner can savor the head.

 

Rabies is not a joke. I'm an animal lover but when there's a Rabies outbreak, bye-bye nasty strays.

Besides, every time you kill a stray, you save a motorcyclists life.
