    The Suzuki Under 23 Football Tournament Visayas Leg opened yesterday at the Silliman Ballfield. Here are some pictures:

    RESULTS OF THE FIRST DAY:

    PFF U23 - Iloilo 2-0 Cebu, Dumaguete 5-0 Leyte

    Schedule of games:

    Saturday :

    1 Pm Cebu vs NOFA (Bacolod)
    3 Pm Iloilo vs Leyte

    Sunday :

    1 Pm NORFA (Dumaguete) vs NOFA(Bacolod)
    3 pm Leyte vs Cebu

    Monday :

    1 pm NOFA (Bacolod) vs Iloilo
    3 pm NORFA (Dumaguete) vs Cebu

    Tuesday :

    1 pm NOFA(Bacolod) vs Leyte
    3 pm NORFA (Dumaguete)vs Iloilo

    3pm Formula 1

    by the evening I am sure with that much sport my muscles are sore :D so I can go back to my favorite, the beertran-sport ...

    Maybe they played real Football!

    Real FOOTBALL no helmets and shoulder pads.... in USA I think they call it Soccer.
    The Hands can not be used in real fotball, and if it is there is a penalty.
    I think they call it FOOTBALL because they kick the ball with their FEET...only!
    Make sence.....FOOTBALL!

    do you know which school represents the NORFA (Dumaguete) Team? Or its a selection from a various tryouts from the city/province? its nice to hear that Dumaguete is one of the active members of PFF but sad to say thers i'snt enough fundings DFC/NORFA. I remember before Dumaguete Football team is one of the strongest team around the country where some of the players before are now the officers of DFC/NORFA.

    i hope to all Dumaguetenos will support FOOTBALL, in the spirit of FAIR PLAY!

    Think i will go along and show support, like Rhoody say's F1 at 3.00 with a cold beer!!. I miss watching my Beloved WEST HAM, COME ON YOU IRONS

    :confused:Seems Jim, most of the teams are University Based, my nephew tells me that, he has spoken to a few from Bohol and they have no teams in this tournament. No affiliation. No funding I guess! :eek: I wonder how far, a DI over 63 team would get!

    So, was there any cheating? (Like fielding 'over age' players, as with the under 12 baseball team, a few years ago?!):D
