Has anyone flown Dumaguete to Davao? What type of plane is used (jet or prop)? And anyone who has flown DGT to Cebu: How does it feel being in a prop aircraft (more turbulent)?

I've flown DGT - Cebu - it's an ATR turbo prop. There's less room and the baggage allowance is smaller, I think. There was no significant turbulence on the flight I took. I've also flown on them many times in Africa and the Middle East with no problems.

ATR's are top reliable planes. Flown many times, wing's design doesn't block your outside view, no matter which row you have a seat.

Dumaguete to Davao is a prop plane. It's not a popular enough route yet for a bigger plane.

Cebu Pacific operates the route with ATR 72-600 turboprops.

It feels exactly the same, just a bit louder. If I had to fly through some sh*t weather I'd much rather be in a prop.

Nevertheless, better a direct flight by prop plane than a jet plane and a transfer in Cebu or Manilla.

What are the weight allowances on the Davao - Dumaguete flights? (And if someone knows this also for the route Davao - Tacloban)
