    We are looking at a lot that needs some fill... Is there such a thing as free fill to be had?

    In the US, you just out a sign by the area to be filled and now and then someone will drop off some fill.

    Do you want sand, stones or just topsoil for that free fill? I think you should specify that.

    Wouldn't imagine anything is free to 'wide eyes' over here, certainly not free delivery. Maybe you could try the City Engineer's office in Lo-oc.
