I hope Ron, that, all your vehicles are well secure. Maybe Dog sales will go up now. All Joking apart though, What is happening to our World to-day? We have always had the petty thief, on our door step But it can only get worse I feel.

Jack, I have a fence and a Rotweiller and just come home with a little puppy for my daughter.

This gas situation may sound like it might get a little dangerous to someone that is new or never been here, but it isn't so bad, especially compared to most any other country. I will be the first one to stand up and say I'm so happy to be in the Philippines.

    1st to 2nd That

 Yes Ron! you are so right, It does make you think though, With Chicken rustling, Price of Gas etc; Life is not always that simple, When I told my colleagues here in Spain, They had Armed guards on places like Joliee B and the Like, WOW! Imagine their Faces. Of course, we will all want to protect what is ours, My 3 pooches will see off any intruder or wake the Household in the process. I said it, as a matter of course, then again, it should be thought about. To new people in the PI, Forewarned is Forearmed, I believe our elders used to say  goes without saying , I too, am very happy living here. In 2 Years when I actually Retire for Good, even Happier

You lucky man. I wish I were right there too. I feel like I'm in limbo right now and that can be a bit frustrating, but I'm sure it will all be worth it. It might take my dogs a bit of time to adjust though, however they can adapt. They've traveled from Perth, Australia, to New York state and then Maine. So, I hope they will live out the rest of their lives in the land beauty.

I don't think it has gone yet, but I think it is going. I still seem to be able to get most things I want quickly if I am willing to pay a little extra or travel a little distance.

    In one!

Yes Robert, This the right attitude to have, Unfortunately, as long as we are still Earning, this is OK. Having Spoken to a lot of retirees, it is those on fairly fixed incomes, that are suffering the most. As normal, Cost soar higher, Quicker than pensions or returns on Investments.:(

True Jack! I know several people on fixed incomes, either retired or disabled. Even if they can find some work to do the US government penalizes them for making small amounts of money to supplement their retirement or pay for medications that they require. A very sorry state of affairs.

    Sorry State Indeed!

 On the Spanish news Yesterday, it was said that a disabled man of 50, was paying out just under 20% of his allowance in medicine, This was because his % Handicap, was below the required level, to qualify for free prescriptions. I am not sure that there is any justice left in this world, for us average People.
