Tomorrow Mart1 will be having a mass at 9pm. All employees are required to attend, and were required to pay P30 each to finance it. The purpose of the mass is to bless the store and also get rid of the ghost the management believes is haunting the place and driving customers away.

This is just too funny. Terribly abusive and beyond stupid, but still funny.

    Charles Dickens.

 Sounds like a Charles Dickens Story, Ghost of Xmas past, Scrooge, maybe this is a new Book he wrote, the Ghost of Rising Prices.

Got to agree. It's abusive to the staff and idiotic in its' concept. But there is an opportunity for the priest to make a few bucks, and when was the last time anyone saw a hungry one ?

If there is a ghost there keeping customers away, it is probably stone deaf.
Most customers stay away from there because they can't get past the ear-splitting ear-drum bursting "music" blasting out at maximum volume at the entrance door, so they hurry by on the other side of the road. If you are brave enough to venture in there, it's a quick purchase, fingers in the ears and head for the door. :D
