    Hi there. I just recently moved back to Dumaguete after 7 years in the US, and I would like to know if there are any gyms here that have at least free weights and elliptical machines and is at least airconditioned. Something that you would recommend.

    I have looked at the threads on here, but the best I could find are a couple of years old.

    sad to say that the threads are still a few years younger than the public gyms and the used equipment here in Duma.

    I don't know of any. I'm with Rhoody on this one. I couldn't imagine anything decent being here. You probably already know this, but Lee Plaza has weights and benches. I have considered piecing together my own home gym.

    Maybe try Celutrim near Lee Plaza. I hear there is some gym equipment there. I have never been there though.

    I have scoured Duma looking for a gym, and The Dude is right. Celutrim up the street from Lee's, is about the "best" gym I've found. There was air conditioning, and some general weights. All in all I did get a decent enough work out. Most of the equipment is old and needs updating or replacing, but still good enought to use.

    There is a new gym advertising opening soon on Ma. Christina street on the second floor of a new building be constructed. It has a sign offering free membership to the first 100 members,but no more info. Its on the same block as Avon
