⌛ hello! cheers!!

just wanted to introduce myself,I am tony from AZ.I will be there in Dumaguete sometime in Feb. After the superbowl.I have been in China the last 2 years teaching english.I have been to Thailand,Cambodia and vietnam during my travels but have never been to Phils? I have heard a lot of recommendations regarding Dumaguete.I hope to find a cheap room until I find an apt that suits me.I'm not a finicky guy,I live modestly.If anybody
has a recommendation for a room, please give me a holla. I worked as a letter carrier for 18 years before moving to Medtronic and then I tried my luck teaching.I thoroughly enjoyed China.Hope to see ya'll soon!

What is AZ ???? In my country that's the name of a football (the funny Americans call that for strange reasons 'Soccer', but they are learning the game now ) team which even became the champion last year.
I am from NB, so I guess you don't know also where that is.
But my education was'nt that bad so I estimate it's Arizona you're from.
But a non-American (like me) will not automatically know that, like you very likely won't know where NB is located (Noord Brabant, in the Netherlands).
But seriously now...I can't offer you a solution for your request for a decent cheap room/house.
But read on this forum. Search to houses for rent or the like and you will certainly find some good advices.
Within some days looking around here you will find something decent enough to stay for a longer time for making a more definitive decision.

That was my own estimation also, but I asked Tony to confirm that.
There are probably more AZ's in the world (i know at least TWO) like there are more Liloan's in the Philippines

Yes, I was there some times.
I wonder however why, living there, you want to move (or not ?) to the Philippines.
Arizona is so wonderful with Sedona, the Grand Canyon, Montezuma, ...and of course Phoenix, the hottest place in the USA.
I loved it; I mean driving around in Arizona.
But I have here (in the Ph.) more friends from Arizona so I know meanwhile that it must be that they're here because of the beautiful women :D
