At last! I have found a forum where i could touch base with fellow Sibulanons and residents of other towns and cities of Neg Or. Mangumusta lang ko sa akong mga amigo sa Sibulan proper - daghan ni sila and i don't think i will be able to name all of them. kumusta na lang kay Boybans, Pepe (Pards!), Jobvills, DodongDips,Nickcalbog...hope to see all of you again in about 2 years time.... nangumusta sad akong igsoon sa iyang mga amiga ug sa tanang mga Cagers. (sorry, i can't mention her name, for now)
Welcome to this forum! I certainly look forward to your comments. I really love Sibulan! The mayor has done a fabulous job in promoting it. I have enjoyed the monthly festive atmosphere and burning candles at the Catholic Church. I enjoy all the bands...discos...events that are planned/brought in at the basketball court. It has all been CHEAP enough to invite and pay for my many friends to join with me and ENJOY! I am missing their fun Halloween Disco this Oct! My friends and I had a fabulous time wearing masks and dancing until the wee hours of the night for their Halloween disco party!
Hi Cindy! Thanks! You sound like you are not from Sibulan yourself but had a blast during your stay there. Good for you. Me, I spent my childhood and teen years in Sibulan, but it's been quite a while now since I've been there. I don't know, it must just be me getting old, but I feel so nostalgic about the place. I am not surprised that you had a great time when you were there. I have lots of good memories of my hometown. We might even have some mutual friends back there, although i have a feeling you might belong to the 'younger' generation. Anyway, it's nice to have touched base with you. Welcome to the forum Boyette. My hubby and I will be Sibulanons soon. Can't wait. We had a great time when we were visiting our lot and had a grand tour at Mrs. Ng's The Lady's Garden, where the 35foot Virgin Mary Grotto is. And if you feel hungry or dieng for a drink, just have to cross the road... It's either you dine at Jo's Inato by the Sea or the Seaforest Beach Resort....Loving it....
Hi Chrissar Glad to learn that you and your hubby will be Sibulanons soon. Honestly, I am not familiar with the places you were naming. It just shows I haven't been to Sibulan for quite a while now. I hope to correct that on my next trip 2 years from now. Good luck on your planned transfer. You won't regret your decision. That I can assure you. Maayong pag-abot.
