    Born and raised in Dumaguete, visited twice since immigrating to the USA 10 years ago. Miss the place.

    hahaha just kidding. Welcome to the junkyard :smile: I meant the forum. Me too, I come from Dumaguete (Piapi), but residing now in the land of opportunity.

    Spent a good portion of my earlier days in an autoshop in Angatan, I kind of miss the junk. :smile:

    Last time I visited was 4 years ago, and what a difference the years I was away has done. The place has grown a lot of shrubs on the sides of the streets, making them look even narrower. Traffic also seems to have doubled in volume. Downtown looks much different. Lee Plaza, Cang's, and Hassaram's used to be the only larger department stores back then. It's nice to see the city progress but I miss the way it was when I left it.
