As requested this is my first posting. My wife and I were in Dumaguete at the start of August for a family get together. Had a great time. We now intend to visit at least once a year and to that end are looking to buy a house. Greatfull if any one knows of decent housing up for sale. Price is open. Oh, to answer the question - yes we can own land etc in Philippines as my wife is an original and did uni at Siloman. Give :D my regards to Why Not - a great place to enjoy a cold beer in the afternoon while the family are resting. Cheers Microslack

Welcome microslack; So your wife went to Silliman Uni. It's really a great school, indeed.

Welcome to the forum, former Sillimanian here. Have some good memories of my years there. Good luck on your venture.
