    Hi everybody,

    Newbie here. My name is Alan - I originate from the North of England, am currently living in Oxfordshire, and I have a rented house in Valencia where I shall be living next year with my beautiful wife Hanna (who is also a newbie here.)

    Err...what else?

    I am a teacher by profession - specialist subjects are Maths, English and French. Been a headteacher here in England - currently own my own Education Centre - but I am willingly 'chucking it all in' to be in beautiful Negros with Hanna.

    I am looking forward very much to becoming an active member here and meeting some new friends. Anyone who lives near or in Valencia is welcome to come for a San Mig. when I return in January.

    BTW. Despite my occupational standing, I am somewhat crazy as anyone who knows me will testify. :smile:

    Well, I was also a "teach", Economics, Anthropology, History, Psychology, now there is a crazy mix huh? But mostly I am a student, looking to learn and assimilate here, a good place as you will no doubt discover.

    You made me feel lonely hanna , and miss my babe too, his in there now(duma),while im here, buried in snow hehehe...you both have the best of time of your life while in Dumaguete.And "welcome to club of san m---drinker:D

    I won't give lines - old hat! But I shall willingly correct homework. :smile: I shall need something to do next year.
    In fact, I shall be looking to do teaching/tuition when I get back.

    BTW - I notice you are from the Wirral. One of my best friends lives in Spital.

    Alan,, curious to how you came to choose Valencia/Dumaguete, I presume your wife Hanna is not from Philippines.
    My wife and I will be visiting Negros for the first time late next year.
    Anyway hope you both enjoy your time there.

    PS.Spital is not far from our place,nice area
