    Hi all

    Anyone know where i can get the following?

    Breathing oxygen (fill my own bottles medical grade not required)
    Co2
    Argon
    Oxy and acetelyn

    Also what is the bottle rental, etc

    near my house in Agan An they sell Oxy and acetylene gas for welders. If that's any help let me know and I will get the prices.

    Related to this subject (almost)......

    Twice now I have seen motors with one guy driving and a second guy on the back, balancing a large oxygen bottle (green) with NO safety cap on top. Obviously, they have never seen the aftermath of the valve being broken off of a full oxygen bottle. OSHA...I'm thinking about you.

    Ya I Have seen thousands and not once have I seen a safety cap. maby they are sold for scrap.:confused::confused:

    Ron, you are right. I've seen delivery trucks with 30-40 bottles and not a one with caps, but, at least they were secured (sort of).
    I'll bet those caps bring maybe 15 pesos in a scrap yard.
    The last company I worked for in Houston got written up for our bottles. About 10 bottles all had caps and were in the rack, but the inspector said the chain wasn't strong enough to support all of the bottles if they fell.

    How bout nitrous oxide, do they sell tanks of that?

    Seems like Mythbusters tried to make an oxy bottle rocket off by breaking the valve, and not much happened?

    Which reminds me, is LIQUID NITROGEN available here?

    I saw the same version of Mythbusters, which was curious, because I also saw first-hand a bottle half way through a cinder block wall that had traveled about 20 feet before hitting the wall, maybe 15 years ago.
