Hello to all my friends here. Well, I've been in phils for 79 days and I've been married for 31 days. STILL, the best decision of my life. STILL, Rudy Mae is the girl of my dreams and I never expect that to change. I am taking Teachers advice about not trying to change Rudy and her ways, and I have learned to sit back and enjoy all of her pampering. I am working on getting my non-immigrant spousal visa for here. Normal paperwork to do. Plus, looking at different houses to buy. Other than that, my life is a dream (come true). Please take care everyone and I will always thank you for all of your help. Ron
And, as a funny side note, I have finially gotten Rudy to give a "correct" reply when anyone asks her if I'm from the USA. She now replies, "no, he's from Texas". And, while getting a haircut yesterday, a lady asked Rudy if I was a former Marine (she used the term "ex-Marine"). d*mn, I didn't think it showed after all of these years.
Good luck Ron, congratulations on the tying the knot and do continue to drop in whenever you want. Its always good to hear from you even if you are from Texas.
"d*mn, I didn't think it showed after all of these years." Once a marine .....always a marine !! (like...once a thief...always a thief :D). "Please take care everyone and I will always thank you for all of your help." Ron, you're welcome and thanks for the invitations for your wedding. Nobody did expect you to invite us as well for the honeymoon trip
The joke that Rudy and I will always remember is that on our wedding night, we got undressed, got in bed, said "I love you" to each other, and then went to sleep.....honest. Catholic/Philippine weddings are very long affairs. I loved every minute (hour) of it. Thanks again. Ron
Rent for a very long time in the area before you buy! Virtually everyone regrets hastily buying property here.
You are the second one to tell me that, the first being my father-in-law. He said there are too many things that you don't expect. Like a neighbors chicken, or a Tuko, or a neighbors mean/crying kid. It seems to me to be the best advice. And, we even looked at one house where the owner offered that option. Rent for the first year to see if we liked it. Of course, I'm sure that they had some motive for making the offer. But still..... Ron
