Good evening my friends. Time to check in to a friendly site.* Just to update everyone, I still am living my fairy-tale life here, with only a few very minor set backs.* One is that I have learned not to go around a curve fast on our motor because there may be a LTO checkpoint ahead. I did, and we were not wearing our helmets and I only have a "student" license. But after Rudy did a lot of fast talking, we were able to buy them lunch and then they let us turn around and go home. I get my regular license a day or so after May 8th. And, we will ware our helmets from now on.* Another thing I learned is that no matter how hard I try, I can not get use to 125cc motors with automatic clutch and a 4-down shift pattern. Our new Kawasaki Rouser 200 in red color will be here on April 29th. It has twice the horsepower, a real hand clutch and a Harley-type shift pattern of 1-down and 4-up. That should make life a lot better.* I am giving my new Honda Wave 125 to my father-in-law. His motor is an old Honda XRM 110cc that is in pretty bad shape. He needs it.* Of course, after watching YouTube videos of the new Rouser, Rudy had to buy us matching red jackets to wear when we are riding (it's a girl thing). Other than that, I had an "interesting" time at another website (not fun, just interesting). I will tell you all about my adventures in a different post.* I am sure glad to log in here again. * *
