I have a brand new 28 foot speedboat which is designed for small groups of divers or for fishing, or family days out. It has a 115hp Yamaha outboard, a full length capopy, and a cabin which sleeps 2. I can carry up to 6 diving tanks. The boat is on a trailer and is mainly launched at Dauin or Tampi. see JEREMY HILL -DUMAGUETE TOUR SERVICES My fee is $100.00 per hour which is about the same as you would pay to hire a jet ski. The boat carries full safety and communications gear and is registered with MARINA to carry 12 people on board. This is NOT a banka. It is a luxury speedboat.
Jeremy, that sounds good. But it is very expensive. friends of mine hired last September a speedboat of a Resort in Dauin for a trip to Apo Island. It was 200 US$ for the whole day. I will ask them to send me some pictures, but I remember it had 2 big outboard engines and the time to Apo was about 20 minutes. I did not dive but my friends made 3 dives, we left at around 8am and came back in the afternoon 3:30. That would be around 800$ with your boat. I think a little bit too much. But good luck Maryfee

Oz, A large dive boat or banca,(30-40 people capacity) The Queen dixie anchored at Silliman beach will only charge P6,000 for a whole day trip to Sumilon. Its cheaper and more practical. Your is for luxury though.
