Has anyone purchased Melatonin in the Philippines? We have an U.S. trip coming up and I’m sure the jet lag will be an issue for the three of us. I used to take it when I was working and traveling and found it helpful.

    Hi The Dude!
I bought three caps at the Life Extention store, US: Life Extention brand. The first night I took the advised one cap, no result. The second night I took the remaining two, it worked, but produced crazy scary dreams.
    Good luck! Long Life!

It's my understanding that the GI tract mostly breaks down melatonin, so when you swallow it the amount that gets to your bloodstream is greatly reduced. For best results you should get the sublingual tablets or the liquid that you can squirt under your tongue. Taking sublingual is supposed to be much more effective.

Surprisingly, my wife found melatonin at Rose Pharmacy in town today.
