for me newt, prog and earlj, it really depends on one's self how they define act of cruelty, merely possessing a the monkey might not be cruel for others,especially if it is taken cared off.

and we don't know the scenario how he came up with the monkey, he might have bought to an owner who he sees is not capable of feeding and giving proper care.

anyway, i only love to see monkey in the wild

True ,but most aren't well taken care of ,it's kind fo selfish really only to have them for human whims.Look at that pic i posted of that monkey in tanjay ,couldn't bare to watch that poor thing wearing thick moneky shirt they made for him and put in a small bird cage ,so cruel.
