    Hello all,

I've been living in Dauin for a few months and while my calf muscles are now iron, I've grown tired of walking and taking jeepneys and trikes every time I want a block of cheese or some good rum... I was wondering if anyone can recommend someone/somewhere I can rent a motorcycle/scooter from on a monthly basis? Bike must be well maintained and I'd prefer one with a manual clutch but at least a toe shifter if automatic. None of that 2 way footpad shifting action for me if possible...

I'm not really interested in buying a bike right now unless the rental prices make that the cost effective way to go. I'm planning on being in the area for another 6 months this trip and would prefer to avoid the registration hassles and reselling the bike before I leave. Any rental suggestions/prices would be much appreciated.

Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, I would have thought this had been asked before... but a quick search didn't seem to come up with anything relevant. Thanks!

Close to the Shell gas station near the market on the right side of the street, on the corner you can rent a motercycle for 200 pesos a day .
And for one month you get two days free, but you have to ask for that.

Thanks for the recommendations. Much appreciated. Diver, thanks for giving me an idea of general pricing as well. Cheers!

monthly rates are available, and if you plan to stay longer just buy one, 36K. If you leave after 4 month you can sell the scooter easily for 20k
