    Are mosquitos any worse in Valencia than Duma or other areas?
    Is there anything you can do to reduce mosquito infestations or otherwise deal with them, like planting an anti mosquito bush if one exists?

    You can encourage Dragonflies, Geckos, and birds to hang around as they all eat Mosquitoes, and get rid of any stagnant water laying around. Pitcher plants and Venus flytraps eat insects also. Other than that......stay inside or wear a good insect repellent. :D

    Mosquitos at my house in Camp Lookout are a lot tamer than their city counterparts. You can literally swat a mosquito perched on your arm in slow motion.

    Lemon grass seems to work, grow that and see if it works,if it don't you can make a nice cuppa tea of lemon grass.

    Mosquitos in the city are nothing compared to what i have been thru in vietam. They literally penetrate to your jeans. The worse that i had experienced.

    You could drop a line to the city engineer and suggest that when he builds drainage canals, it might actually be a plus if they drained somewhere, like down grade/hill for starters. Additionally, it might also help if you request the city hall to more regularly maintain and clean the existing ones......but then again.....it may not......:D
