⌛ New Here

Soon will be my 2nd trip to the Philippines. Me and my wife are planning to go from Manila to Bacolod to Dumaguete to Cebu to Bahol (Which city?) and back. Will be visiting her relatives, doing some sight seeing, and hopefully go snorkeling.

Welcome to the forum of gentle people or at least most of are at any rate. your trip sounds like it will be fun. if you could let me know what you think of Bacolod it looks interesting but I don't know anything about it. wondering what an Expat thinks about it...???

 

Bacolod is OK, but nothing special. It is a good stop over point for us. It has 2 large malls, good restaurants, and alot of University students. My wifes aunt and uncle live there and her parents live in the mountains which is about 4 hours away by bus. I've heard they've moved the airport since we were there last which is good as the jets used to fly low over the hotel we liked!
