    Hello everyone!

I'll be moving to Dumaguete after I retire from my present job and want to make contact with expats that live in Dumagute. I lived in Barrio Barretto, Olongapo City, from 1994 to 1997 after reiring from the Navy. I have visited Dumaguete several times over the years and am somewhat familiar with the area.

What do I need to know and what are some of the pitfalls should I watch out for prior to making my move? I'll be getting my 13A Visa prior to coming.

Hey Man, does Papa Tom still own Mangos?
And is the Midnight Ramblers still open?

Also, I know a guy in Guam you should talk to.

King, Hope to see you soon. As far as pitfalls, the only problems now is the sinking Dollar. I get alot of new guys stopping into GiGie's to ask about current housing. There always seems to be someone in the bar who knows of atleast one place for rent. Will keep an eye open for you. When do you plan on moving here?

Hi Marky thanks for the response.

Yes, Tom Myer still owns Mango's. You know his dad "Dutch" died some years back.

Midnight Rambler was taken over by the land owner and went bankrupt. But the bar owner reopened Midnight Rambler across the street from it's original location.

Please give me the name of the guy you know here in guam.
