I know that Cebu is a good town to be single in if you are a mature foreign gentleman. The ladies are plentiful and seem very interested and hospitable. Is Dumaguete about the same? I'm asking because Duma is much smaller and seems more provincial.
The answer is no. The pool of available and interested girls is much bigger in Cebu. And yes, the girls in Dumaguete are much more shy and conservative. If your primary interest is being in a place with a large number of available and interested girls, you are probably best to stick with Cebu or Manila.
And don't forget the fact that Cebu/Manila girls who stick with old foreign dude are just in it for the money and cheats with other younger guys for pleasure. And Jesus Christ, why don't you try getting a girl from your country in the first place? Save yourself the trouble of heartache since 80% of Filipina's only go for the money or a visa, not for love.
