does it talk, by the way? and how does it show "affection"? is it like a dog, or it just wants bisquits?

She climbs up on my shoulder and gives me ear massages, than climbs down my arm and helps me work the mouse and keyboard.
Than walks around on the desk gets into everything.
Sometimes if I'm sitting down and sitting still, she'll fly over to my lap and snuggle in and fall asleep.

No talking yet, this one's very young but they tell me this breed does talk. She does imitate sounds sometimes. Got the whinnie of a horse down really well. I think the breeders must have had her around horses.

Giving your ear massage; snuggling into your lap, now that's affection. Wow,
wish I could have one. Marky, does she use her beak to massage your ear?
Or maybe she's just picking up earwax, hahaha just kidding Marky. :smile:You really
have an amazing bird. Lucky you.

hi there Marky, i have a African Grey Parrot, had him or her you can't tell unless you have dna, (the bird not you) born in Aberdeenshire, i have had him/her for 18months since it was hand reared here, it talks your head off, being a bird it has no control over its bowels so poohs any where, bit like when you've had a indian, great friend, will miss him/her when i move to Duma. can live 60 or 70 yrs if it lays an egg its a femail, cheaper than DNA. cheers Stilo

They are lovable aren't they, but a person thats never had one wouldn't understand.
I'm pretty sure ours is a female, I actually think she needs to mate already. I need to find a male for her..
    Cheers
