⌛ Paypal Account Verification

You probably heared that we can now also use philippine bank accounts in verifying paypal accounts if you have no credit card available. Can anyone here in dumaguete successfully receive money from paypal through his/her savings bank account ? what is that bank name is? Thanks for the help and have a nice day to everyone

 

I heard Metrobank, but the source is not the most reliable one...

 

Although the managers aren't even aware what Paypal's all about, I've been successfully transferring my Paypal transactions to Chinabank and BDO for the past 2-3 years now. But note that regardless of the amount withdrawn from your Paypal account to your Philippine bank, there is always a P200 bank surcharge.

 

Is that account is a savings account alone? or you also have a credit card on those banks? Did you use credit card in verifying your account or you already use savings account in verifying your paypal? Thanks

 

Savings account for both banks. To withdraw amount to your bank, Paypal just needs your bank's tracking number, which is usually found on the upper right corner of your bank's check. And yes, one needs to furnish Paypal a credit card for verification. However, you don't need to be a Paypal doesn't require you to be a member if you're PAYING for something, all you need is a credit card and you're good to go.

 

You can verifying paypal account also using Union Bank Debit card, no maintaining balance, but has 350 Pesos annual fee, But less transaction free. 50 Pesos fee of amount 7000 Pesos an below,,,zero fee of amount 7000 pesos an up.

 

I also heard about the eon card of unionbank, but we don't have union bank here in dumaguete. Is it possible if I can open online then they will just send me the card?

 

Thanks sillimanian for the reply. I will use this paypal account for my new job online and my employer requires paypal account for his payment for me. Problem is I don't have credit card to verify my paypal account.How I wish there is a unionbank here in duma:(

 

My wife just apply EON last June in Cebu, and the gaisano country mall Union bank says there will be a Union Bank in Dumaguete this year, so just hang out,,^^
