    Sometimes when I am sitting on the blvd enjoying the sights and beer,I see what appears to be an eagle "fishing" around the north end of the pier.I have read that these are rare and endangered..annyone else seen it ???..Miguel

    There are two of them, and can be seen most every day along the sea. Sometimes they can even be seen in Valencia.

    Most likely white-bellied sea eagles. Almost the same size as Philippine Eagles and look similar....Sea eagles are all over the Philippines (and elsewhere in south-east asia) - but like everything else - numbers are dwindling. Enjoy them while you can. The Philippine Eagle is likely restricted to Mindanao now - and stay in mountain forests. Very very few, if any, left on Luzon.
