    hi guys,

planning of moving back to dumaguete for good. I need info/ recommendation regarding internet services. My location would be in lower Magatas, Sibulan Boundary of Camanjac Dumaguete.

Just spoke with SkyCable people and told me they don't cover my preferred location yet. I need contact numbers of any internet service provider in Dumaguete so I can give them a call. Thanks

We couldn't get internet service, even from Globe who all our neighbors had, so when PLDT came into town in December they had us hooked up and running within a month!! Very happy with the service!! Here is a landline number and email contact:

    Pldt

We signed up for the 2 mbps plan, but, from day 1 , we have consistently gotten 3.11 mbps, so we aren't complaining!! That is plenty fast for our needs.

Do they offer other plans? I would be using it for business, the faster the better, and......my company has agreed to pay for it. :D

I want to have 2 sources of internet, with one for my wife's use and to use as a back-up.

I have a PLDT flyer in front of me that says they offer 1, 3, and 5 MBPS high speed plans, as well as more economical "bundled" plans.

I would recommend you don't subscribe to Globe if you have any other choice.

Just did a speed test on my Smart Bro. It shows 0.80mbps. That's about the normal.
