Anyone know where I might find the spice, Dill? I have looked all over Dumaguete but cannot find it in any of the stores.
None to be had in Dumaguete but you can find in Cebu.... Try asking davfitz if he has any left...Miguel
there is a lot of Dill available in Dumaguete. each Friday afternoon at the market close to provincial hospital is a guy with tons of different spices including Dill. I get mine from Marcel, a teacher at DACA (Dumaguete Academy for Culinary Arts). You can meet him at the school at the Boulevard during normal working hours. He got tons of interesting products inclusive homemade sausages, smoked stuff, etc...
Every wednesday and saturday morning there is a market, opposite of Mercury Drug Store when you are heading towards the airport. You just walk strait in and about in the middle on the left side there is a philippino named Danny. He is selling dill, different basil and some other spicies and herbs.
