Sorry, all brands here are Chinese knockoffs. And they would be called "pranters" since the Chinese can't pronounce their R's.

On the upside, I have a connect for cheap Rolexe's and Viagra. Actually, I have a hundred connects for them, and that's a conservative estimate.

    And steve,

Maybe its national pride. maybe not.

Personally, I would want to buy the appliance stuff in the P.I. Why? So that if something's wrong with it, I could bring it back to the dealer.

But yes, Laptops... Camera's... and other small electronic gadgets...that doesn't need 110 ONLY(laptops do have multiple power supply ratings), power supply.. buy it in the US.

But appliance, like TV, Ref, Microwave Oven.... etc etc... buy it here. And yes, Desktop PC, I'd suggest buying here too.

    Less hassle in transporting them....

This is just my opinion... as I too can buy outside the Philippines but I don't.. for the simple reason that I hate, lugging around heavy/big luggage.

Thanks Aying, Can you please find out if that dealership has a website? Toyota and Mitsubishi. I couldn't find it on the net for Dumaguete.
