Why Not's "Thai" food taste nothing like any Thai food I have ever had...

In Cebu, my two favorites are Siam in the Terraces at Ayala and Mae Krua on F. Ramos near the Diplomat Hotel.

Off topic, but someone is opening a Mexican (well, the sign says American, Filipino and Mexican) restaurant in Dumaguete...across from Avon (Sta. Catalina St, I think).

Thanks, will try Mae Krua, Lemongrasss VERY disappointing, Siam not so... Here's hoping the new Mexican comes close, if not at least good margaritas!

    Thai in Dumaguete

I have heard some ads on the radio lately (12/2010) for a Thai resto but have not yet been able to catch the address. Anyone have any info?

If you like Thai food, there packs of curry paste (green, red & yellow), Tom Ka Gai paste, Tom Yam Goong paste, fish sauce, kaffir lime leaves (dried), Coriander leaves paste & various other 'bits and bobs' in Lee Hypermart currently available. DIY?
(If you don't know how, the internet has a huge selection of sites where one can find favorite dish recipes, just use a search engine)
