While I was studying with my little little one for her exams for school I flipped through the religion book and found the 10 commandments. Not that I am totally unfamiliar w/them but No 9 just seemed a bit strange to me. a.) for knowing that there is no more jealous creature in the whole wide world than a filipina, and b.) somehow it says a kind of the opposite of that one I know (the other girls-thingy...) NO, this is NOT the start of a religious discussion, maybe just a proof of MY twisted mind, as I really had to laugh out loud when reading it. cheers Rhoody
Careful my friend you are walking on very thin ice here, hehehe. Anyway, I think it refers more to jealousy of material posessions rather than that love thiggy type.
Hey, I see violating those as a compromise. She violates #9 and in turn I violate #8 (no, I wasn't txting that chick again.)
hahaha.... other options for #8 violations: .... I really had only 1 SMB .... I wanted to go home but Mike forced me to have another one .... All numbers in my cell are business contacts .... I really love you because of your wisdom, education and worldview .... Robinson soon to open...
for me everything is strange....hahahahahahahaha...can i ask whats the difference between gods commandment and a persons self imposed rules? which of the two woulld you follow? gods commandment or your own rules? at times when a conflict between the comandments and your own rules arises how would you deal with it?? best ASIL
Faith based rules (Commandments if you prefer) are guided by "FEAR" i.e. going to Hell if you break it. Self Imposed rules are guided by pride and the repercussions are merely personal or none at all. If you can't live by your own rule, simply change or modify it. Spousal rules are guided by "Booty", don't follow it, you don't get any. Simple as that..
