hey, I've been to Dumaguete this month. Two times. It was a really great experience and I've seen my bestfriend too who I haven't seen for like 2.5 years. Really nice city and all but what I really like about Dumaguete is that it's somewhere between a province and a highly urbanised city like Cebu or Manila. Not too crowded and not too quiet. Plus, the Boulevard is just awesome at night.

Do you mean Nerisse? In Piapi? They have really good food there too, especially the roasted bangus and the tocino. Nummy!

z3orym3r, I'm so glad that Slapshot is still around. I hope they stay there forever (and the chef too! I heard that he used to be the chef for Rosante).

The boulevard was awesome for about a week for me... Then the beggars constantly bothering you, people peeing off the wall into the ocean, sewage coming out the bottom of the wall and stinking the place up, dogs pooping on the sidewalk as their owners just watch, and....mothers letting their kids use the grassy areas for a bathroom kind of changed my mind.

Odd, so many Filipinos say public restrooms on the blvd would 'ruin it'..

    RUIN IT? It's already wrecked!

Those kinds of things are normal where you live in Calif Brad?
