NO tiney Frogfish but SYNCHIROPUS OCCELATUS

THis is the SYNCHIROPUS OCCELATUS and NOT a FROGFISH. Very nice and there fore easy to Identify....it is a ground dweller and close relative of the Mandarinfish of wich I will attached (again) a picture.. Several species of Synchiropus can be found in the PHILS

The Mandarin Fish can be found in Cebu , Surigao and Zamboanga..
The Spotted mandarin Fish comes from Palawan and is getting more rare nowadys..
The S. occelatus is very ambudant in Batangas area

For RHOODY the males have a prolonged DORSAL FIN unlike the pretty short dorsal fin of the females...
    1. Green mandarin Fish
    2. Spotted mandarinfish
