I loved going up to the Twin Lakes and exploring it although I was shocked when suddenly they started charging Foreigners. It is always a good idea to have lots of pesos on you just in case things change.

    Everyone, GREAT PICS!

Yes I agree ,this seems so unfair and somekind of race discrimination practiced in the Twin lakes in terms of fees. What these people in Dumaguete tourism in mind, very strange really .There's the Filipino fee and the foreign visitors fee.But why can't they do same rate fee,and do ask separate donations for environmental causes. I am sure many will be kind enough to donate some additional money,in that respect it would look bit fair .Imagine the restaurants and shops will adopt same as the twin lakes system ,that's not right.

You folks know who you can thank for diffusing the NPA threat in Negros Oriental?

From what I know, it was Governor George that went up there and talked to those folks.

Wow, those are gorgeous pics that Rev. Robinson took. He must have a very
expensive camera to get the full view of everything. Thank you Reverend.

I don't mind paying a little extra. As long as I can see that its going to a good cause and not into someones pocket.
This is not a commercial venture. That money collected is supposedly going for the care of one of Negros's treasures.

I want that place to stay clean and accessible for my grandkids to get to see. And if that involves asking tourists for a few pesos more so that the funding is adequate, than so be it.

But I wish they would ban plastic bags and containers up there, some people are total pigs and just drop their trash anywhere.

Thank you for the new avatar Newt. That is a big improvement.
