Anybody know if any of the establishments in Dumaguete will be carrying UFC 129 (St-Pierre vs Shields) this coming Sunday?
    Thanks, John

Typically the fights are shown live on Balls (no really that's the name) network.

Balls definitely will not be carrying this live, at least not on Dream Satellite. They may broadcast it, but it will not be until 6 months or so.

    "BALLS
    UFC

    ST-PIERRE VS SHIELDS
Premieres: May 1, Sunday 11am, LIVE"

Pretty sure they will since that's according to SkyCable - Philippines' best cable service.

Thanks for the tip. I called Dream Satellite, and they won't have it live, but I'll find somewhere I can watch Sky Cable. Wish I could ditch Dream.

Just was sitting last night at Villa Tara for a cold one and Jimmy the owner told me he will show it on their bar flat-screen.... and if it is Noreco's will, that might even happen ...

Just called them and according to the well informed lady at the other end of the line there should be no brownout in that area

Thanks for all the tips, especially the one about Villa Tara. I had a fantastic breakfast and watched the fights at their bar. I hadn't been there before, but you bet I'll go back. Jimmy and Abeth are great hosts.

Where is Villa Tara? I've not heard of this place before???

    EDIT:
    http://villatara-guesthouse.com

I just checked out their website - it looks very nice (and it's in Daro, so I'm surprised I've not heard of it before!). Thanks for the tip, Rhoody!
