    Good day to everyone. I would like bring my wife and my two kids for a summer vacation in Dumaguete. The place looks great when I saw it in Travel Living or maybe in Living Asia channel, sorry i couldn't remember the exact channel. Anyway, we have been to many places here in the Philippines and we decided to visit next is Duamaguete and its nearby places. I hope you guys could help us on where is the best place to stay and areas to visit.

    MABUHAY !!! I do believe it was Living Asia travel. Me permanet move from @#$%^Manaila to Dumaguete this April is caused by that Televsion channel ....

    Hi Earl, thank you for your warm welcome. It's so nice to have someone welcoming us to this forum. By the way Earl, do you actually live in Dumaguete or just a tourist also like us? I hope u could give us some tips on where to stay and visit nice places in Dumaguete. We're planning to spend our summer vacation there by late April or early May. Tnks

    Hello Jun! Welcome to the forum and welcome to Dumaguete in advance! Well in my opinion, you should visit Antulang and go to Bais for dolphin/whale watching and swimming in the sand bar. I think your two kids will enjoy that. How old are your kids anyhow? :smile: I hope you enjoy in our city :smile:

    Hi Cheska, i have 2 kids ages 9 and 6 and my friend togther with his family might come along as well. Actually i am trying to invite my brothers and sister to come but each one of them have other errands. Usually every year all our families take time to be together for a vacation. Last year we all went to Boracay and this year we're still debating on where to go. Somehow, after Dumaguete trip i could be your ambassador to bring them all there again.

    Hi jun, i think your kids will like Antulang -- it offers lots of activities like horseback riding, kayaking, etc. And dolphin/whale watching in bais and a whole day trip to the sandbar is always fun for everyone. Also trips to Lake Balinsasayao is fun, if they're up for it :smile:
