⌛ newbie in this forum and in Dumaguete

Hello! I'm glad to have found this website. I tried to log in to irc chats to get info about dumaguete but no one can give me the answers I need.

I have 3 different appointments on Dumaguete City on March 12. Then I also have an appointment in Cebu City on the 14th. Where do you thing I'll stay first? Dumaguete or Cebu?

I plan to get a flight from Manila to Cebu on the 11th then I'll take a ferry/bus trip to Dumaguete on the 12th and back to Cebu on the same day. I don't know how long my appointments are in Dumaguete. What time is the last trip to Cebu? Is it safe to travel at night?

What do you suggest?

I have been to Dumaguete and Cebu many times over the last 20 years and we have never had any safety problems in ether city. May be I just look so old and mean that the bad guys just leave us alone, not so in Manila. I feel far safer in Dumaguete than I do here in the U.S.

Welcome on board As for your question, Travel Guide actually posted the Ceres Bus Shedule a few months back. It is under Tourist Information postings. If you haven't read it, here it is:

The Ceres Liner bus from Dumaguete to Cebu is not that bad, I have been travelling this route several times now. It takes around 40 minutes from Dumaguete to the boat landing - around 60 minutes to cross over to Cebu Island and then another 3 hours up to Cebu City.

There are more non-aircon busses that ply the cebu to dumaguete route, but this is the schedule of the aircon busses as of today(might change so don't blame me)

2.30pm

6.00am
10.00am
