⌛ Dgte call center info

Anyone know what the hiring requirements are for the call center in Dgte?

I'm guessing they only take college grads-because there's plenty of them, but who knows (?) they might take high school grads who speak perfect English.

Are jobs there more or less permanent, or the usual 6 month stint?

What's the starting pay?

Teletech is now accepting part time agents. Yes, I think they accept only college graduates, according to their ads, but if you are eduacated in the States, who knows?

Other companies presently in Dumaguete are SPi, one of the world's leading BPO companies, as well as Entheos IT. The smaller ones are SEAT IT Network for travel reservations, Nexxus and ACSAT for medical transcription, as well as Nestwood for software development.

At least a couple of multinational BPO groups are in the process of applying, or planning to locate here.

 

It's not for me. Thinking more of Negros relatives.

Plenty of interesting things coming up, though, if you're thinking of working here. They are talking about a Robinson's mall, KFC, Starbucks or Figaro, National Bookstore, or an Eastwood City style business or IT Park with hang out places similar to those found in Malate, 12-15 storeys buildings and hotels, etc. And Teletech will soon add Gold's Gym to its facilities.

 

The old town is losing it's charm :(

I guess it all depends on how well it's planned.

 

TeleTech accepts undergrads but with minimum of at least 2 years in college.

Btw, we don't hire part timers anymore due to the low turn around of applicants.

 

What are the employment benefits of TeleTech? I've read an ad about a call center company in Makati called Ascend Asia. They offer 25% night differential, health care benefits, and 14th month pay. Thanks.
