    Hello people im new to this forum.

    Iam a 37 yr old guy from the Netherlands married to a yes right Filipina so thought checking this forum out. Iam a friend from Columbo who pointed me out to this place.

    Want to buy a piece of land in Bacong net door to the guy mentioned above.

    My family inlaw live near Pototan IloIlo in a place called Mina but you guessed it a little distance is good for the heart and soul.

    Went to Dumaguete last year December and found that its a blessing compared to the city of IloIlo.

    Also the scenery is better and more natural and closer to beaches and mountains etc etc.

    I am from the Netherlands too, and will live permanent in Duma starting April 25th . You are so right .. Dumaguete and neighboring villages have a LOT to offer , indeed ..

    Welcome Puti-tigbaw to this forum. I also recently found out that there was a more "country-side" forum, more related near our "home-town". And also Earl, I heard about you from Rien (Decon_phils) from Sibulan.

    Wow many dutch coming...is this a dutch invasion ? lol :D

    We had a dutch neighbor before in dumaguete , was a nice guy but he drinks like mad .He was one of the guests during our wedding ,his name was Ronnie ,used to hang around in the Why Not and drive his cool Harley D. Sadly few months after we went back to England we heard the news he was badly ill and eventually passed away (in Duma) ,severe liver cirrhosis killed him...only in his early 50's,still young to die.

    Sorry to hear that about that guy Ronny but we all know a little alcohol greases the joints and relaxes the mind and body too much will sadly kill ya.
