⌛ The real Nemo

Talking about frustrations... Blue Tang ( Paracanthurus hepatus) can be bred... The problem is getting the right Broodstock. Sofar ONE !! scientist in the Phils ( Dr. Elsi Tech ) has been able to get lavae. The survival of larvae is her speciality though very poor results. I will get into that perhaps later myself with the newest techniques. People prefer tankbred clowns over wild as they are more dosile and easy to keep... Lots of Pseudochromis kinds are tank bred as well and some other fish..There is NO commercial fish collecting in Negros until now..LETS KEEP IT THAT WAY !!!!!
Most clownfish come from Cebu , Zambales , Bicol , Lubang , and good colorphase Nemo,s strictly from Coron , but shipped thru Cebu , not direct to Manila exporters.
Blue tangs are getting very rare nowadays. only ambudant in Sulawesi . Still found in schools in Appari , Surigao and Zamboanga .
In East Africa where I used to have a Fish Station in Mombasa , there is a subspecies with a bright yellow belly and bloodred dorsal fin . It comes from deeper water and is more rare.

Those pictures of your tanks!! That's quite a set up that you have!! Now that your moving to Duma, will you be moving your facility also, or will you be still work out of Manila?

The facility is actually bigger...... Plus we have a real nice Laboratory as well.. The place is taken over by some guys here . But we will build a brand new one even better later this year in Negros... Likely it will be in Sibulan or Dauin / Zamboanguita for obvious reasons...
For those who care. WE DO NOT PLUNDER the reefs but BREED FISH !!!!!!

 

Sex change is not that strange ? i see a lot of it in the Philippines lol Some of the cutest girls are achtually boys hehehehehe

 

I avoid those types. Why Not has plenty of them.

I believe you are right on this one ! I don,t mind , my wife is even very found of them.. And why not ?? Indeed the world needs friendly people whatever their sexual preference is ,we have to respect them. Respecting does not implicate that we have to jump into bed with them WAK -WAK

 

Even if u would do i would not be shocked.

Do what you want or like, if it doesnt interfere with other people 's life in a bad way there is no harm in it.

I dont understand why sometimes people in this world are so narrow minded or scared by people that are different. I never had any problem with them exept the flirting game. One asked me to come with her to Manilla i said ok just ask my wife first i dont want to get problems

I am more worried by agressive people that would kill me cus i have 200Peso in my pocket, then someone who flirts with me to get into my pocket

Its a good thing to breed clownfish it saves the reefs maybe later they can also be used to repopulate emty areas when people 's change their attitude

 

Repopulation is part of this Dutch Government granted project. Some 15 % of the raised fish is put back on restored reefs....

I do believe , and so do many others , that " the thirth kind ", so to speak of , is far from agressive , but more gentle , soft by nature and great fun to spend time with. They are also very artistic as many of them are doing by profession some kind of work that is related to their special skills for that..

I've never had problems with others outside that type of venue. Although in my experience many have made comments like they are hitting on me, but I know there was some joking going on as it is typically done in front of my gf.
