Yabs, That is a great post you wrote: Let me tell you in very brief somethings about it. As you once wrote so correct about the algae blooming in Boracay being a result of poor or no waste water managment at all ,you are very much right that Duma area as growing all so quick NEEDS such a plant for sure..
Now comes the beauty of it all. Our Royal Higness Prince of the Netherlands Willem Alexander ,takes himself great interest in Waste Water Managment and travels the seven seas to convince parlements that especiality in thirth World countries one should do something before it is to late.. Look at Thailand and o well . you know what I meen.
So as a result of this and much more there is with the Asian Development Bank a fund mainly coming from our Ministery of Foreign Affairs available for this ranging in some US $ 380 million that is.. One can read all about it at EVD informatiebron voor internationaal ondernemen en samenwerken
On the same governmental site one can find info about all other already running projects of the Netherlands here in the Philippines and the breeding of Ornametal Marine Fish more specificly

I think it is time that some people in Duma area talk to the Governor to see what , who ,where and how things can be achieved .Beside my profession I am also a Board Trustee with the PNBC / PCCI ( Philippine Chamber of Commerce) and can have some pencil pushing been done.. Before it is to late.. A nice side effect is employment ......

Waste water of Dumagute and MC DO

Sad to see that everybody that claims to love Dumagute so much , don,t realy care that the sea and coralreef get spoiled of just flushing everything directly into the sea. Do they realy understand WHAT will happen in some yuears to come ??
A topic like that concerns all ,but helas no post !

Governments Do Not Worry About Things That Will Slowly Happen Over Time Because Governments Are Only In Power For Short Time.
Governments All Over The World Can Only See 3 Or 4years Down The Track Which Is Their Time In Power. They Do Not Worry About Long Term Projects That They Would Not Get Any Credit For Or Benefit From Themselfs, They Are Only Ever Worried About Their 3 Or 4 Year Term In Office So They Can Get Re Elected.

 

There is a Waist Water Management Project ongoing in Negros Oriental, headed by a Dutch National who presently resides at El Dorado. Know that a number of (local) politicians are involved.

Dgte has a Waste Water Treatment Facility!

guys, no need to worry. if u r just here around town then u would notice that 1/3 of Quezon Park has been torn down to make way for a waste water treatment facility that would handle the water wastes of the public market. in fact, its almost done. this waste water facility is a pioneer here in the philippines as ive come to know. another 2 waste water treatment facilities is going to be built near silliman medical center to handle the hospital's water wastes and one will be in the downtown area for the business establishment's wastes.. all of this will be built underground.. this treatment is done through the initiative of the city vice-mayor who travled abroad just to study and know how this facility works. being an environmentalist, he never thought twice to put up a facility here in the city. so now, we will have 3 facilities this year.. the boulevard sea water will never be the same again. it will once again be clean and may be possible for swimming once again!

Also in Bais are projects running to clean Waste Water. If i'm not mistaken, such is sponsored by W.H.O. Major and Governor are involved. Will try to get more specific info and post such when available.

In my opinion, the McDonalds does not add a great deal of Waste Water. (i'm not a McDonalds fan,but try to be realistic) and there is SURELY NO NEED to REST our case as Earl wrote. This matter is of TO much importance.......
