    Had real bad experience with " Island Properties" also. Seems that each " so-called" brooker / agent can just advertize anything. Pictues don't say anything>> it might be the property of a neighbor !!!
    Advise to " BLUE" If you are seriously thinking about retiring and moving to Dmgte, just rent a small place for a couple of months, and take your time to look around by yourselves. If you have no experiences buying real estate, avail of services of knowledgable people ( this forum has many) to avoid big problems and to make sure that price-is-right.

    We ourselves moved to Dmgte (area) last October, searched for about 1 month, and found our HOME. Ofcourse, no house will fit exactly to your needs/taste so most of the time some "renovations" will have to be done. In our case, we had a rented place, out of which we could monitor the work. Would do it again,the same way, if ever.........

    dirty too is a better age but as long as ur healthy and breathing who cares :D
